Interested in hosting a social hour, reception, or seated dinner? Our semi-private space is available five days a week for lunch, accommodating up to 30 guests for a seated meal or 50 for a standing cocktail reception. At The Good Eating Company, we strive every day to set a new standard for dining by providing an inspiring, delicious, farm-to-fork dining experience that extends beyond the plate. 

The Good Eating Company was cooked up with passion around a kitchen table in the UK in 1999. We started with one big dream — to bring restaurant-quality food to corporate dining — and have been championing flavor and food creativity ever since. So much so, that Sodexo took notice of our culinary expertise, acquired us in 2017 and brought us with them to North America in 2020.

From Europe to North America, we are proud to craft delicious local, seasonal, and healthy meals for workplaces every day.

Meet our Team

Moses Ponce Executive Chef

With over 15 years of culinary experience in some of the country’s most innovative and high-profile kitchens, Chef Moses is currently the Executive Chef at The Good Eating Company in Chicago, overseeing the 77 W Wacker café. In this role, he leads menu development, catering operations, beverage and pastry programs, and daily lunch service. Known for his leadership, creativity, and operational precision, he also manages training, hiring, safety, and food cost controls.

Moses' culinary journey has included key leadership roles at Bazaar Meat by José Andrés, The Mina Group, and the legendary Chateau Marmont. They also worked at Destroyer by Jordan Kahn, where he was involved in the restaurant’s avant-garde approach to food and service. Their hands-on experience spans all facets of kitchen operations — from R&D and pastry to fabrication and fine dining execution. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, he's been featured in FSR Magazine and Heavenliness.eu for their rising influence in the culinary world.

Paul McIntyre General Manager

Paul is an experienced restaurateur with a strong background in managing high-volume restaurants and leading diverse teams. With a passion for hospitality and a talent for creating smooth, efficient operations, he has built a career on delivering great guest experiences while driving business success.

Paul is known for his hands-on leadership style, focus on people, and ability to balance the details of daily operations with the bigger picture of long-term growth.

Janitzo Medina Catering Manager

Janitzo Medina is a Catering Supervisor at The Good Eating Company, where he ensures every event runs smoothly and leaves guests with a lasting impression. Raised in Florida, he began his hospitality career at Walt Disney World and went on to gain diverse experience in neighborhood bars, mom-and-pop restaurants, and luxury resorts. His time with the José Andrés company and volunteer work with World Central Kitchen further fueled his passion for hospitality and giving back.

Now based in Chicago, Janitzo brings energy, dedication, and precision to every detail, from coordinating Banquet Event Orders to anticipating client needs before they arise. He believes a happy, enthusiastic team is the foundation of exceptional service and works hard to create that environment every day.

Outside of work, Janitzo enjoys exploring Chicago’s vibrant food scene and is always open to new restaurant recommendations.

Marissa Tunon Senior Area General Manager

Originally from Mexico City, Marissa Tunon earned her Culinary Arts Certificate from the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago, Le Cordon Bleu Program. Her career began in the kitchens of José Andrés’ restaurants, where she quickly rose through the ranks to become an executive chef, leading award-winning teams in D.C., Las Vegas, and Chicago.

Now based in Chicago’s West Loop, Marissa oversees workplace dining programs across the Midwest for The Good Eating Company. Her focus is on creating thoughtful, nourishing food experiences rooted in sustainability, culture, and connection.

When she’s not working, you’ll find her walking her dog Lorenzo or exploring the city’s vibrant restaurant scene—always looking for her next favorite bite.

We’re located in the heart of downtown Chicago inside the 77 West Wacker Building, directly along the Chicago River at the corner of West Wacker Drive and Clark Street. The building sits between the Clark Street Bridge (east) and the Dearborn Street Bridge (west), with entrances on Clark Street (two) and West Wacker Drive (one).

CTA Train Access

· Clark/Lake Station (Blue, Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple Lines) – 3–4 blocks northwest.

· Washington/Wells Station (Brown, Orange, Pink, Purple Lines) – 3 blocks southwest.

· Lake Station (Red Line) – 5 blocks east.

· Washington Station (Blue Line) – 4 blocks southeast.

Parking

Several parking options are available within a short walk of 77 West Wacker.

The One Eleven Garage at 228 N. Clark Street is just 500 feet away (about a one-minute walk) and offers covered self-parking.

Nearby, the 200 North Clark Garage and the Government Center Self Park Garage (181 N. Clark Street) are both only about 0.1 miles from the building, providing convenient self-park access.

Another close option is the Theatre District Garage at 19 W. Lake Street, also about 0.1 miles away, which offers covered parking.
